  • Cairo University EU-Research Cooperation Office and Cairo University International Students Bureau are announcing possibilities for THREE training scholarships exclusively for Cairo University young staff. Training Scholarship is on Governance and Small/Medium Enterprises in Egypt offered by Italian Cooperation. Scholarship covers training course fees, accommodation, meals for 3 months from Sep 2012 till Dec 2012 near Bologna in the North of Italy. In addition 500 EUR as pocket money. Flights are not originally covered. However through some agreements, flights for the three trainees are to be partially covered.
  • Mo Ibrahim Foundation – The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships
    • The Fellowships will provide selected candidates with the opportunity to work directly in the executive offices of:

      • The World Trade Organization (WTO)
      The expectation is that Ibrahim Fellows will go on to play a major role in the governance and development of the African continent.
    • Ibrahim Fellows will be selected by the institutions in conjunction with the Mo Ibrahim Foundation and will take part in a 12 month fellowship with one of the participating organisations. Their work and living costs will be fully funded by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

  • Entrepreneurial Leadership Discovery Program (ELDP) – Institute of International Education
    • The program is targeting aspiring entrepreneurs who are keen on participating in a program that aims to enable youth entrepreneurship in Egypt.  The ELDP is an intensive highly interactive training and enrichment program designed to support youth under 26 years of age who have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and want to start an innovative new business or social enterprise.  By the end of the program, participants will have acquired the skills and know-how to act on their ideas and pitch their ventures to potential partners and investors.
